Applications Analyst

Permanent, full-time - 35 hours per week

$86,850.40 - $108,563.00 / annum

What is the opportunity?

What will you do?
- Design, test, and implement software solutions to meet business needs.
- Support users with incident management, identify and resolve systems issues, and act as the first point of contact with vendors.
- Provide expert advice and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Systems analysis of the effectiveness and efficiency of solutions & develop strategies for improvement.
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and maintaining organizational standards and templates to increase consistency and efficiency.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members.

What do you need to succeed?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related discipline or post-secondary Diploma and equivalent years of experience
- Minimum five (5) years of proven experience in administering or using a relational database such as Microsoft SQL Server
- Minimum three (3) years of proven experience in project management, processes, and tools
- Experience in business process optimization and the development of data integration and data interoperability
- The ability to develop Business Intelligence and Analytics platforms and/or products
- Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred:

- ITIL Foundations Certificate, PMP or PRINCE2 accreditation is considered an asset
- Experience developing and administering SharePoint is considered an asset
