Brampton, Canada Maple Lodge Farms Full time

**OVERVIEW**:
**Role Purpose**:
General maintenance functions, maintenance repairs and upkeep to equipment, facility, yard, General store and additional properties.**
**Key Accountabilities and Activities**:
Maintains Maple Lodge Farms buildings, yards and properties, including but not limited to:

- Repairing
- Pothole Repair
- Resurfacing yard and parking lots
- Plowing/Snow clearing
- Salting of walkways and driveways
- Dust control in yards
- Garbage clean up
- Spraying or cutting down weeds in the yard.
- Completes preventative maintenance inspections, and schedules work orders.
- Assist other Trades as necessary.
- Other general maintenance duties as required.
- Policies, Processes & Procedures

a. Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work

is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Experience**:

- Must possess mechanical aptitude and three years of experience in a similar role;
- Working knowledge of food and meat plant regulatory standards (CFIA, etc.), GMP, HACCP, BRC, food safety, food quality, etc.;
- Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), WHMIS;
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking is essential;
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Heavy Equipment/ Lawn Equipment experience

**Education and Certification Required**:

- High School Diploma; Grade 12, or equivalent.
- Backhoe, Skid steer front end loader Certification (training to be provided)
- Valid G Driver’s license required
- DZ license required
