**About Our Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Manager, Compliance & Sustainability, the Housing Analyst will work collaboratively across the department as a part of the Housing Strategy team. Your role will involve a combination of policy leadership, project management and high-quality analysis to support informed decision-making on the Province’s Housing priorities.
You will lead a variety of complex projects with a broad group of stakeholders and technical experts to implement new initiatives, by coordinating delivery and processes, assessing operations and implementing operational strategies/plans.

**Primary Accountabilities**:
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading program delivery on strategic initiatives including planning and coordinating processes and functions
- from implementation to evaluation.
- Participating in and/or coordinating program evaluation and reviews to support continuous improvement activities.
- Developing implementation plans which balance the department’s interests, stakeholder needs, and strategic objectives.
- Participating in and/or leading work groups on specific issues.
- Determining research and data requirements and facilitating, leading and/or supervising data-gathering activities.
- Consulting and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, while managing relationships and leading project teams towards a shared goal and outcomes
- Leading and conducting primary research through jurisdictional scans and contact with a broad range of housing program stakeholders and other provinces/territories.
- Coordinating strategic initiatives based on options and recommendations regarding priorities and emerging issues.
- Conducting research and data analysis related to a range of housing initiatives and strategies.
- Coordinating and preparing clear, accurate, and timely ministerial briefing materials and cabinet submissions, presentations, and other correspondence.
- Effectively communicating data and complex information to senior department leadership, government, and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a minimum of seven (7) years of related experience; or a Master’s degree and five (5) years of experience. A degree in public administration, business, or law would be an asset.
You must demonstrate the following:
- Program or project management experience, specifically related to delivery, evaluation, and compliance.
- Strong data management, analysis and reporting skills.
- Research and presentation skills.
- Understanding IT systems and how they interact with processes.
- Stakeholder engagement experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and exercise sound judgement.
- Understanding of quality management and continuous improvement culture.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
You demonstrate an aptitude for understanding and writing complex documentation and have experience with the preparation and presentation of briefing materials. You demonstrate leadership as well as diplomacy, with a strong focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion; along with strong problem-solving skills.
