Our team is dedicated to delivering innovative solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Scheduler/Cost Controller to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.
**Position Overview**: As a Scheduler/Cost Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing project schedules and costs. You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be crucial in identifying cost-saving opportunities and maintaining project financial health.

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Scheduling**:
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure schedule adherence and identify potential delays or issues.
- Prepare and present regular schedule reports and forecasts to project managers and stakeholders.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to address schedule deviations.
- **Cost Control**:
- Monitor and control project budgets, including tracking expenditures and forecasting future costs.
- Analyze cost variances and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and budget alignment.
- Prepare cost estimates, budget reports, and financial analyses for project evaluations and decision-making.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain comprehensive records of project schedules, cost reports, and procurement transactions.
- Generate detailed reports on schedule performance, cost analysis, and project status for project manager review.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to scheduling and cost control.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in scheduling and cost control within the oil and gas industry.
- High Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and excel
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
- Familiarity with industry standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
