**THE POSITION**

Support Senior Infrastructure management to oversee, manage and support the day-to-date maintenance and upkeep of CSEC’s network and computer systems. Provide and maintain an up to date technology infrastructure that allows the organization to function in an orderly and productive manager.

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Maintain and support converged infrastructure, virtual and physical servers, firewalls, networking (LAN,WAN,WiFi), storage systems, SAAS, and cloud solutions;
- Participate in the planning and implementation of improvements to IT infrastructure and department specific solutions (ie Desktop Publishing, Video Production, Customer experience, Sport specific technologies, etc.);
- Work with security team to ensure robust protection against persistent threats, malware, and other attempts to compromise company networks;
- Ensure security of company data and compliance with PIPEDA legislation;
- Regular maintenance and auditing of CSEC backup infrastructure and processes;
- Monitor Service Desk for trending issues and escalations. Cross-train team members on administration of current and future systems;
- Timely and clear communication of changes, issues, and outages to CSEC staff and other stakeholders;
- Regularly monitor software, hardware, security and connectivity issues;
- Documentation of systems and procedures;
- Research and/or learn new software and hardware in the marketplace that enhances the organization’s functions;
- Responsible for multiple jobsites including the Saddledome, McMahon stadium and retail locations;
- Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules.
- Other duties as required.

**THE INDIVIDUAL**
- Minimum 5 years industry related experience with post-secondary education in IT.
- A post-secondary diploma, degree or certification related to Information Technology.
- Industry certifications that would be an asset including but not limited to,
- CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent
- VMware VCTA, VCP, VCAP
- Security+
- Azure
- AWS
- Great people and interpersonal skills a must.
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility for problem resolution.
- Experience in project management
- Ability to assume responsibility.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Current industry knowledge of system hardware, software and connectivity.
- Experience managing, deploying, and troubleshooting campus and data center networks.
- Understanding of Network infrastructure, subnetting and VLAN’s
- Experience managing VMware hypervisor.
- Experience managing IP Telephony systems.
- Experience managing and troubleshooting Wi-Fi technologies.
- Experience working with Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure work is completed in a timely manner,
- Able and willing to work technical support standby for events on evenings and weekends.
- Eager to expand knowledge.
