**The Opportunity**

The Client Intake Lead position is a key component of managing the growing client base of the YMCA Centre for Immigrant Programs and is central the initial intake process for families and individuals to successfully access services. We are looking for a highly organized individual that combines attention to detail with a people focused approach to ensure warm, professional, efficient and accurate leadership to this program area.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervision of the Intake Team to ensure the first point of contact is welcoming, inclusive and professional
- Provide leadership to Intake Team to support program and service delivery (ie. logistics, booking space, promotion, recruitment and registration, files, equipment etc.)
- Recruit, hire and onboard new staff
- Create and manage relevant documents that improve effectiveness, efficiency and responsiveness of program area and in support of other program areas
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to create a referral network of services for clients and lead others to do the same
- Provide training, feedback, and to maintain efficient management of client information and uptake of services
- Maintain Database information and submit monthly reports to support the work of the department
- Assist in the development and potential expansion of Case Management framework to support Clients with ongoing and measured support
- Work collaboratively with all YMCA settlement program areas to ensure effective referrals

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Supervisory experience leading a team with a focus on client/customer service
- A proven track record of effective staff leadership with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Settlement sector knowledge, and experience working with immigrants and refugees
- Demonstrates a Strong understanding of client information systems
- Demonstrates strong facilitation and training skills both virtual and in person
- Robust understanding and connection to a variety of community services and resources
- Strong computer skills (Office 365 including teams and other apps)
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Demonstrates ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Data management an asset
- Additional languages an asset
