**Shipping Manager**

CNC Industries is a prominent manufacturer of OEM components for the Mining, Construction, Earthmoving Industries, and specialized parts used in the Oil Extraction process. We are currently looking for an experienced Shipping Manager in our busy warehouse. This position will be responsible for overseeing incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments; ensure compliance with shipping specifications and supervise and coordinate the activities of shipping team relating to all shipping activities.

**Start Date**:As soon as possible

**Wage Range**:$70,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience.

**Location**:3291 8 St, Nisku, AB T9E 8T3

**Shifts Available**:Day shift.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- At all times, the Shipping Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Health & Safety of themselves, their peers, and customers in an environmentally friendly manner.
- Supervise and provide ongoing support, coaching, training & development, and performance-monitoring activities for the shipping team; promote a positive work environment and adopt a culture of continuous improvement in all areas.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse; containers, shipping/receiving, and parcels.
- Responsible for coordinating all packaging of all shipments; overseeing and managing every stage from packaging to delivery.
- Study shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
- Oversee and maintain Inventory Control; participate in cycle counts to ensure accuracy, supply, and product movements.
- Work closely with all departments - communicating to all stakeholders to align with customer requirements - ship dates, delays and risks.
- Support in audit of supply chain and logistics processes and ensure compliance across departments and continuously improve productivity and efficiencies of process.
- Oversee and prepare all necessary documentation for shipping domestically and internationally; custom clearance to ensure containers are cleared upon arrival.
- Ensure the shipping area is always organized and clean and meets compliance requirements.
- Ensure all employees follow all applicable health and safety regulations and other Company-related policies and procedures.
- Compile and maintain applicable metrics as required.
- Build positive working relationship with Custom Brokers
- Other duties as assigned.

**Profile and Required Skills**:

- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Management, Materials management, or related
- 3+ years in shipping/warehouse and supply chain; knowledge of transport industry and traffic.
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in a supervisory role in a warehouse environment; ability to manage staff.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Collaborate and work with all levels within.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to handle pressure, to adapt and formulate new plans as contingencies arise.
- Strong organizational skills; exceptional time management skills.
- Self-motivated, with leadership skills and a positive and high energy level outlook.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be open to continuous learning and improvement.

**Working conditions**:

- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity - required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Work involves walking, standing, bending, lifting, and kneeling.
- Day shift, some weekends as needed.
