**Rotation/Shifts**:
Days, Monday to Friday, possible evenings and weekend as required, and on-call, 8 hour shifts.

**What you will bring**:

- Post secondary education at a university or college level, studying within the fields of Criminology, Criminal Law, and Security;
- Formal training in self-defense, crisis intervention, physical control and electronic security;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience related to Security or Police services, including previous supervisor/leadership experience;
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (must continue to maintain license and renew as required)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Excellent listening, interpersonal and public relation abilities;
- Excellent time management, analytical and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated management or supervisory skills;
- Demonstrated selection, interview, training skills and Human Resources planning abilities;
- Knowledge of integrated access control systems, digital video systems and integrated revenue collection systems;
- Knowledge of budget and control tactics in order to manage operational budgets, prepare estimates, and forecast and authorize expenditures and refunds;
- Security interview and investigation skills;
- Working knowledge of hospital information technology systems;
- Sound knowledge of the roles and responsibilities of the departments and employees within the Hospital setting;
- Sound working knowledge of related legislation including the Criminal Code of Canada, National Building Code and Fire Codes, Charter of Rights, Criminal Records Act, Narcotic Control Act, Food and Drug Act and municipal by-laws, regulations and codes;
- Working knowledge of Excel and Word.
