Our commitment to excellence has earned us a loyal following, and we're looking for a Full-time Administrative Assistant to join our passionate team.
- **Job Summary**_
The Administrative Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the efficiency of operations by handling various tasks and providing exceptional assistance to management and staff. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.
- **Responsibilities**_
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings for the employer.
- Maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Manage and maintain social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Google business pages.
- Arrange for advertising or posting of job vacancies as required.
- Manage expenses using Quickbooks online and work with accountant to finalize year-ends.
- Assist in screening and rating job applicants and conducting reference checks before and after interviews.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, capturing critical discussions and action items.
- Notify applicants of the selection process results and prepare job offers.
- Help prepare employment contracts, gather payroll requirements, and coordinate with Sun Life for group benefit enrolment (when needed).
- **Qualifications**_
- Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other pertinent software.
- Familiarity with online platforms and social media management is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering accurate and error-free work.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and professional attitude.
- Experience in business, administration, marketing, and human resources is a plus.
