**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy across all major platforms, including but not limited to Meta, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content (text, image, and video) that aligns with the brand's voice and strategy.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of social media campaigns using analytics tools, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and industry news, and integrate relevant insights into the social media strategy.
- Engage with online communities, responding to comments and messages promptly, and fostering positive interactions with our audience.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align social media content with broader marketing campaigns and company objectives.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns, including ideation, targeting, and performance analysis.
- Provide recommendations for new social media initiatives to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Support in coordinating and capturing Community engagements including, but not limited to mascot appearances, school visits
- Be available to work evenings and weekends as required to support the brand’s social media activities during peak times or in response to emerging trends and events.
- Other duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Lead or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns.
- Proficiency in social media platforms and tools, including but not limited to Meta, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Knowledge of audience demographics and behavior patterns across different social platforms.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Box Lacrosse, the National Lacrosse League and key stakeholders.
- Experience with content creation, including graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Suite).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret social media metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and interact with diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends; some travel required.
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a significant asset.
