About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Specialist to join our team at Pshcp-Aa. This role will involve creating and editing content in both French and English, responding to requests for information, and maintaining records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, edit, and proofread various content in both French and English;
  • Respond to requests for information from stakeholders and maintain records;
  • Develop communication products such as the PSHCP Bulletin, website articles, and the organization's annual report;
  • Coordinate the translation of documents and website content;
  • Maintain and update the Administration Authority website, including monitoring website usage and identifying opportunities to increase readership;
  • Provide office-wide support services such as formatting documents and presentations;
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives;
  • Collaborate with the Appeals area to ensure continuous coverage and allow for cross-training opportunities;
  • Follow procedures to ensure compliance with the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act and respond to ATIP requests.
Requirements
  • Fluent bilingualism (French and English)
  • Post-secondary education (University degree or College diploma)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field. A suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent writing skills in French and English are essential.
  • The candidate must have the ability to write, edit, revise, and present content in both official languages.
  • Proven experience in developing communications products is required.
  • Experience in operating word processing and presentation software (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite, Sharepoint), design software (Adobe Acrobat, InDesign), content management systems, HTML, and cloud servers is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate must be organized and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from various sources is crucial.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, as part of a team and individually is essential.
  • Knowledge of the health insurance industry and the PSHCP is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act is also an asset.
Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
