**Description**

Applications are invited to teach the following courses in the **Fall 2024 **session for the **Division of Music, School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA)**. Lectures for the Fall 2024 term run from September 3 to December 6, 2024. Please see the academic schedule for additional important dates and deadlines.

NOTE: THE FOLLOWING COURSE OFFERINGS ARE TENTATIVE, PENDING FUNDING AND SUFFICIENT ENROLMENTS.

NOTE: THERE MAY BE CANDIDATES WITH THE RIGHT OF FIRST REFUSAL (TUCFA Collective Agreement 23.12).

**Current Offerings for Fall 2024**

**MUPF 229A/329A: World Music Ensemble (note this hire is for 0.17 HCE to team teach with the Ensemble Director)**

Fall 2024, Mondays 18:00-20:50
Course Description: Performing experience in the World Music Ensemble.

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Significant (i.e.: national/international) performing experience in santur
- Significant experience in intercultural musical collaboration
- Significant teaching experience in Persian traditional music
- Demonstrated ability to deliver curriculum to students from a wide variety of backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to make connections between the University and the diverse local musical community of Calgary
- Strong organizational and professional skills
