**Job Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in journalism, political science, business administration, public administration, social sciences, Indigenous studies, or a related field
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

**Experience**:

- Two (2) years in strategic communications, issues management, media relations, and working in highly sensitive interest holder environments
- Two (2) years in developing and implementing communications strategies for a diverse range of interest-holders
- Creating and delivering communication materials and presentations for clients (internal or external), and executive-level management
- Managing complex projects independently
- Supervising, mentoring, or coaching a team
- Working in the child care sector
- Working with Indigenous service providers and communities
- Conflict resolution, negotiation, and leadership skills

Provisos:

- May be required to work evenings and weekends.
- Travel may be required. Transportation must meet ministry operational requirements.

**About this Position**:
There is a temporary opportunity until June 2, 2025.
A permanent appointment may result from this temporary appointment.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
