**Job Title**:Donor Engagement Coordinator

Atwell Centre, Pregnancy Options Support (Atwell) is a pregnancy care centre. Our corporate office is located in downtown Hamilton and our satellite location in downtown Oakville. We provide education, caring support and give practical assistance to women and their partners as they face important decisions about their unplanned pregnancies and sexual integrity. Our services consist of pregnancy options counselling, post-abortion support workshops, post-adoption grief counselling, male mentoring, a clothing room for maternity and children's clothing, and a community educational program, S.H.A.R.E. Atwell offers an environment where people make a difference in the lives of women, men, families, and students in our community.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate on fundraising strategies and campaigns, analyzing donor trends and preferences
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns, including online giving and special events, while tracking progress
- Research and identify potential funding sources, including individual, corporate, foundation, and government grants
- Write and submit grant proposals, ensuring compliance and maintaining grant records.
- Manage donor database, generating reports and implementing data-driven strategies.
- Collaborate across teams for cohesive messaging and maximize fundraising opportunities
- Provide administrative support, including donor record maintenance and event logistics
- Monitor fundraising budgets, track expenses, and prepare reports related to fundraising activity
- Initiate engagement opportunities with prospective donors and potential church partners
- Actively network with funding agencies and/or charities in the community to increase exposure to the work of Atwell Centre

**QUALIFICATIONS**

- Expresses full agreement with the Clinic’s Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct and Lifestyle Standards Policy
- Passion for the organization's mission and values
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience (e.g., non-profit management, fundraising, communications)
- Customer service orientation
- Previous non-profit fundraising experience preferred
- Understanding of ethical fundraising practices and compliance regulations.
- Experience in event planning and event logistics
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to organize and prioritize work and set deadlines
- Experience in the use of fundraising software, or CRM software, is preferred.

**Position overview**:
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Fund and Donor Development Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CEO and Board of Directors in their fundraising and donor development activities. The position will assist in developing, coordinating, and implementing strategies, campaigns, donor relationships, and events to meet financial goals and uphold the organization's mission.

**Reporting structure**:
Reports to: Executive Director

All personnel, including staff and volunteers should seek to be a role model in attitude, speech, and actions in their consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ. They should be prepared to explain Atwell’s Christian beliefs and practices to all visitors and callers.
