About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Coordinator. This role will be responsible for planning and executing events, coordinating with community groups, and managing donations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute events, including conferences, workshops, and fundraising campaigns
  • Coordinate with community groups, including non-profit organizations and businesses, to develop partnerships and secure donations
  • Manage donations, including tracking and acknowledging gifts, and ensuring that donors are recognized and thanked
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and partners
  • Assist in the development and implementation of community outreach and engagement strategies
  • Provide administrative support to the Events Manager and other team members as needed
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a role similar to this one, including experience in event planning and coordination
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or other donor management software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
