Aquila Software is seeking a **Junior Helpdesk Support Technician** to join our IT team.

Reporting to the Director of IT, the **Junior Helpdesk Support Technician **will collaborate with the internal Helpdesk team, security team, different departments, and external vendors to provide support and technical assistance related to all network and computer systems, hardware, software, and information systems platforms.

Specifically, the **Junior Helpdesk Support Technician** has the following responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot and attempt to resolve user help desk tickets and escalate when needed.
- Use remote access methods/tools to troubleshoot issues.
- Provide support including hardware & software installation, configuration, maintenance, and training.
- Prepare and set up new users and equipment (including shipping equipment).
- Offboard users and equipment (receive, image, and store returned equipment until it can be redeployed).

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- 1+ years of experience in a related role.
- Degree in technology field or relevant certifications (CompTIA, MS, Citrix, Cisco, Amazon) or background in information systems.
- Office 365 administrative knowledge.
- Possess strong customer service skills with a willingness to help.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical issues to non-technical end users.
- Have a desire for continuous learning with a willingness to stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
- Have a risk-aware mindset, identifying and mitigating potential security threats.
- Be attentive and systemic in handling tasks, focusing on each detail in a structured manner.
- Live near/have access to a nearby UPS shipping store.
- Have secure space to store laptops and/or monitors in preparation of shipping to an end user.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**
- Working knowledge in system administration and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Office 365 Administration knowledge.
- Entra ID knowledge.
- Active Directory knowledge.
- Intune/Autopilot knowledge.
- Azure/AWS/Cloud environment knowledge.
- Basic networking knowledge.
