This position is temporary, designed for current undergraduate students in a Bachelor’s of Commerce program. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) from May to October, with the possibility of part-time work from September to October 2024.

GHGSat offers greenhouse gas detection, measurement, and monitoring services to industrial and government customers around the world. The company uses its own satellites and aircraft sensors, combined with third-party data, to help industrial emitters better understand, control, and reduce their emissions.

We are seeking an accounting intern to join our finance team. Reporting to the Controller, your mission will be to support our finance team with various projects.

**Location**: This hybrid role is based in Montreal, with 2 days per week spent in-office at our location near the McGill Metro station.

**Compensation**:This role pays between $22 to $24 CAD per hour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the accounting analyst in preparing the invoices for our customers
- Assist the accounting analyst for monthly reconciliation of accounting accounts (like Prepaid)
- Assist the accounts payable specialist in processing expense reports
- Assist and participate in the implementation of a new ERP (Oracle Netsuite)
- Assist the accounting team in the year-end audit
- Assist the accounting team in other various tasks

**Skills**:

- Strong command of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the team
- Detail-oriented and eager to learn
