**Fitset Ninja** is a ninja warrior and obstacle course training facility with locations in both Edmonton and Calgary, AB. We offer many programming options for children to adults. Our programming is designed for all fitness levels from beginner to Ninja Warrior competitor.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The Weekend Operations Coach is responsible for the effective running of our parties, group bookings and Open Gym sessions. They are also responsible for the promotions of all other Fitset Ninja programs, including upcoming competitions, workshops and events. And updating athletes and clients regarding ongoing promotions.

**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Party Host/Coach**
- Ensure the party area is prepped for the upcoming birthday party
- Escort the guests to their designated party room
- Conduct a headcount of party participants at the start of the party and at the end (while counting in between sections to ensure no one is left behind)
- Supervise the guests from start of the birthday party to the end of the birthday party
- Provide a fun and interactive experience to the guests, taking them through the obstacles of the gym in a safe and orderly manner
- Create challenges and engage with the guests while on the floor
- Ensure participants are having fun
- Provide examples and demonstrations of the obstacles
- Continually check in with parents to ensure that they have everything that they need
- Provide a 15 & 5 min reminder to the host of the birthday party to ensure they are aware to clear out once their time slot is finished to allow clean up and operations of the next birthday party
- Remind parents about classes, 50% off Open Gym for the party kids that day, Camps and any other ongoing promotions
- Mention to party hosts to fill out a review for their party to receive a free Open Gym pass
- Clean and tidy the party room for the next party

**Open Gym Coach**
- Get the gym prepared for Open Gym. Ensure that each area has fun and interactive obstacles that are progressive in skill level to ensure that all Open Gym participants can utilize each obstacle. Each obstacle has to be checked for safety. Tidy up any extra equipment that is not being utilized.
- Provide an Open Gym orientation to ALL new guests and athletes that have not been at the gym in a few months. Orientation must include an explanation of the obstacles in each area of the gym, safety tips and the Open Gym rules.
- Engage and offer challenges/regressions to the guests
- Interact with all guests and offer demonstrations of the obstacles
- Help build stations and obstacles
- Inspire the guests with ninja skills
- Refer participants to our training team and provide instruction on how to register
- Ensuring the obstacles stay organized and safe for athletes
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment to all guests
- Ensure all athletes under the age of 12 are accompanied by an adult
- Ensure that there are no children under the age of 5 on the course or using the obstacles

**Facility**
- Ensure all closing duties and lock uprequirements are completed on a daily basis, including Gym Reset
- Refer to Deep Clean Listduring slow weekend hours
- Conduct constant safety scans/checks of the obstacles and stations
- Ensure participants are following the gym rules and playing safe
- Valid Standard First Aid / CPR-C
