Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:
Service Management:

- Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers and related hardware.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of infrastructure.

Active Directory Administration:

- Manage Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.
- Implement and manage Group Policies to ensure a secure and efficient environment.

Security:

- Implement and manage security measures, including firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
- Perform regular security audits and take corrective actions as necessary.

Backup and Disaster Recovery:

- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure regular backups are performed and tested.

Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide technical support to users and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Generate reports on system performance and health.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Windows Administrator or in a similar role.

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in Windows Server 2012/2016/2019 administration.
- Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with network protocols and services (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VPN).
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation.

Certifications:
Required:

- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Fundamentals (if entry-level).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.

Preferred:

- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- CompTIA Security+.
- ITIL Foundation.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Pay: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
