Commercial Business Development Representative

PolyLevel Alberta, A Groundworks Company, is seeking a talented **Commercial Business Development Representative** to join our Commercial tribe in the **Edmonton, AB** area
The **CBDR **at Groundworks plays a crucial role in generating revenue for the company by selling Poly services and providing estimates to potential commercial clients. They are responsible for building and maintaining a book of business through a team-oriented approach, actively supporting the growth of the company. They collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and Edmonton Leadership Team to ensure accurate estimates, seamless project transitions, and overall company success.

**Responsibilities**:
- Embrace and embody Groundworks team culture by actively contributing to the company's growth and success through commercial business
- Proactively seek out new commercial business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential clients the applicable industry
- Utilize creative approaches to establish relationships with key stakeholders, including cold calling, networking, attending industry events, and leveraging online platforms and networks
- Collaborate with colleagues, project teams and senior leadership to identify cross-selling opportunities, share leads, and support each other's sales efforts
- Engage in open and constructive communication with the project team to ensure accurate project estimation, smooth transitions, and exceptional customer experience
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights, providing input for sales strategies, and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to effectively position Groundworks commercial services and contribute to the company's competitive advantage
- Demonstrate a commitment to long-term company growth by focusing not only on personal sales interests but also on the collective success of the team and the organization as a whole
- Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications**
- 2-5 years experience in sales, preferably in business development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, negotiate effectively, and engage with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to cold call and establish relationships with various networks and key business decision-makers
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Sales CRMs
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
