We are hiring full-time Food Service Supervisors to join our team at Starbucks on Carleton University campus. Reporting to the Manager of the location, our Supervisors are responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the unit, working with the team on the ground, and ensuring a high level of customer service. This position is a great start to a management role within our team

**About the Job**:

- Supervise and direct the prompt, efficient and friendly serving of all food and beverages
- Direct staff to complete appropriate tasks; adjust tasks as required
- Keep location properly stocked to ensure the smooth oper457596ation of the unit
- Work quickly and independently to resolve operational issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow up with Manager
- Participate in all fields of administrative work, including but not limited to: opening/closing duties, cleaning checklists, tracking sales and service statistics nightly, and maintenance logs
- Coach and motivate staff
- Assist in the training and development of staff
- Ensure adherence to all of Aramark Policies and Procedures
- May perform other job duties as required

**About You**:

- Work experience in the food service industry as a supervisor an asset
- Solid understanding and practical knowledge of retail service business principles and service etiquette
- Effective team management experience
- A proactive approach toward day-to-day activities and shifting demands
- Knowledgeable with POS
- Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills
- Perform well under pressure; manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Excellent customer service skills
