**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE**:

- Manage all functions of the Front Office night team and overall operations of the hotel.
- Conduct the night audit process including; revenue verification from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies. Post transactions needed. Perform end-of day procedures. Produce daily reports for departments and department heads. Compile and run statistical reports for all departments and transfer information to the Finance department.
- Represent hotel management, including exposure within other departments of the hotel, during periods where department manager/supervisor is not available.
- Ensure that the Front Office Standards and Art of Hosting principles are upheld at all times and meet/exceed the GSS scores (Guest Service Survey).
- Provide on-going training and development of current and new hosts. Empower hosts to make decisions to ensure total guest satisfaction.
- Ensure smooth check-in and check-out of all guests by properly handling guest accounts.
- Be highly visible during peak times and extraordinary events. Be a strong presence in the Great Room during high traffic times to assist hosts and guests.
- Resolve any guest requests and problems.

- Review credit report and take appropriate action to resolve all problems.
- Complete work or special projects as assigned and make sure to meet deadlines.
- Have knowledge about sales strategy, packages, promotions, and discounts. Know how to handle these and how they relate to other departments.
- Monitor and respond, in a timely manner, to past, current and future guest requests on the hotel’s social media channels outside of the Social Media Champion’s work hours.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of the products, including hotel rooms, type of rooms, amenities, services of hotel, etc.
- Develop knowledge about frequent guests and their special requests and needs.
- Report any unusual occurrences immediately to the Guest Services Manager and/or Director of Room Operations.
- At all times strive to represent Marriott in the most professional, courteous manner.
- Practice safety awareness. Maintain safety by adhering to safety policies; be responsible to report all incidents immediately. Support all safety programs.
- Other reasonable duties as required.

**WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR: Education and Experience**
- Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience within Guest Services required.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Guest Service Agent or Night Auditor.
- Excellent knowledge of Front Office operations.
- Accounting/Night Audit experience preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of Front Office software.
- Excellent knowledge of PMS an asset.

**Skills and Abilities**
- Proficiency in both official languages (English & French) a definite asset.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Energetic, self-starter, team player.
- Valid driver’s license with impeccable driving record and ability to drive both standard and automatic transmission.
