Qualifications:
**Essential**:

- Experience working with the general public, and providing service to diverse clients.
- Experience in determining eligibility and explaining legislation, policies or procedures to others.
- Strong organizational skills, including experience working under pressure and the ability to prioritize tasks with accuracy, in an environment with competing demands.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with the public, team members, managers, other staff and agencies.
- Effective problem solving skills with the ability to manage conflict in a calm and respectful manner.
- Effective wirtten communication skills in English and French.
- Effective verbal communcation skills in English and French.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
- Ability to work indeppendently with high degree of initiative.

**Desired**:

- Knowledge of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA)
