**Marine Technical Parts Coordinator**

McKeil Marine is looking for a highly organized and detail oriented Marine Technical Parts Coordinator to join our team on a 3 to 6 month contract with the possibility of full-time employment. In this key role, you will be responsible for maintaining critical data within our planned maintenance and procurement systems. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to understand business requirements and support operational efficiency. As the Marine Technical Parts Coordinator, you will help achieve business objectives by enabling effective planned maintenance and parts procurement activities.

This role would be a stepping stone to a future career as a Buyer / Purchaser.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- ** Requirements Gathering and Data Entry**: Collaborate with stakeholders from the Technical Department, Procurement Group and Vessels to understand their requirements, and challenges related to the parts data that is present in NSE (ABS Nautical Systems Enterprise). Verify existing data for accuracy and completeness and correcting any errors or inconsistencies. Continue to maintain records to ensure they are current.
- ** Database Management**: Organize and manage electronic files, documents and databases to make information easily retrievable and ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
- ** Business Relationship**: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, NSE personnel and external equipment vendors. Facilitate meetings and discussions to drive alignment and decision-making throughout the process.
- ** Procurement Focus**: Assist Purchasers with processing Requisitions and Purchase Orders to acquire understanding of the Procurement process.

**Qualification, Skills and Key Competencies Required**:

- Post Secondary education in a technical field and/or a completion of Skilled Trades Apprenticeship (ie. Mechanical, Electrical, Millwright) preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A capable communicator with good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- A basic understanding of project management principles an asset.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

**Working Conditions/Special Notes**:

- The ability to work remotely at home as outlined by current Hybrid WFH protocols and policies.
- Occasional visits to our vessels may be required to gather information.
