**Position**: Build and Configuration Specialist
**Reports to**:Research and Development Manager
**Type**:Permanent part time, 25 (min) to 32(max) hours/wk, typically 8:30AM-5PM

**Responsibilities**:

- Work under the technical direction of the Windows Architect.
- Perform sanity and unit testing of releases as directed by the developers. Create a test plan. Identify deficiencies in behavior of the system, document the weaknesses and generate detailed tickets that can be addressed by developers. Document test results.
- Testing would be manual initially. Identify and implement opportunities for automation to improve efficiency, repeatability, and quality over time.
- Verify and reproduce Customer Support Windows tool issues and assign to the appropriate developer.
- Create release notes for internal releases.
- Create the User Release Description document for external releases.
- Create internal design documentation to define the interaction between different software modules.
- Provide task estimates and status updates as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Strong computer and IT related skills. Familiarity with registry, privileges, protected/public/deployment folders, networking.
- Strong scripting skills to support build configurations and test automation.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure end-user aspects of a software design and behavior are well documented.
- Passionate about creating excellent products.
- Proven ability to drive projects and assignments to successful completion.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to provide creative and sound solutions to problems.
- Able to evaluate solutions with a critical eye.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or closely with others. A team player.
- Strong time management skills and able to work in a dynamic environment with multiple simultaneous assignments and priorities.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
- Committed to personal growth and development of new skills.
- Experience: minimum 5+ of related experience.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25-32 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
