**We are looking for a**
**Commercial Analyst**
**to join our Montreal office You will be supporting the Sales Manager with all aspects of book management including sales, procurement, strategy formation, customer relationship management, contract negotiation and execution.**

In this role you will play an integral part of
**account management** for clients and be the first point of contact for business-as-usual customer requests including volume declarations, scheduling requests and will work closely with Portfolio, Scheduling teams, Commercial Services & Logistics to ensure on time delivery of contracted volumes and associated documentation.

At the same time, you will support our operations with trade off strategy, overseeing trade off including but not limited to liaising with third parties and managing associated documentation.

Reporting to the Commercial Superintendent (Atlantic Metal Sales) you will:

- Be the first point of contact for customers for daily requests.
- Manage & optimize inventory to ensure optimal level and on time in full delivery to customers.
- Ensure customer requests are properly managed in monthly forecasting.
- Work with the Commercial Services and Scheduling teams to successfully execute on trades.
- Develop and improve processes to better the customer experience and drive efficiencies
- Over time develop and expand sound understanding of the market, supply & demand drivers, and key trends.
- Support the Sales Manager on Book Strategy formation and negotiation mandates.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key internal and external stakeholders including Customers, Logistics, and Operation.
- Participate in Digital transformation of our sales organization by promoting START and other digital tools.
- Work closely with Sales Manager to provide an excellent customer service.

- ** **University degree in either Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, Marketing, or related fields.

**It will also be beneficial if you have**:

- ** **Notable commercial, sales, or business development experience in B2B context.
- Ability to work as a team player and adapt, work in a fast pace, demanding and changing environment.
- Knowledge of Power-BI and other Digital tools.
- Knowledge of SAP will be an asset.
- Ability to travel.
- Knowledge and experience in the metals and mining industry or chemicals.
