**Position Summary**

We are now looking for the next generation of  **Audiologists and Hearing Instrument Specialists **to take on this challenge.

As a Hearing Care Professional, you change lives by empowering people to rediscover all the emotions of sounds. You guide clients through comprehensive hearing tests and interpret test results for the purpose of selecting suitable hearing solutions. You counsel clients on the latest hearing aid technology and help them identify a hearing solution that best addresses their hearing needs. You are a forward-thinking clinician who ambitiously embraces the latest industry technology and trends to provide the best care to your clients and you are devoted to providing a caring and personalized experience for all clients. You build trusted, lasting relationships with your clients, empowering them with hearing health care education, and directly impacting the communities that you serve. You lead your clinic team with integrity, accountability, and respect, and collaborate with your colleagues to exceed client expectations and create a welcoming and inclusive people-oriented culture.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

Reporting to Amplifon’s [Senior] Area Managers, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of client care demonstrated by executing the following responsibilities:
**Clinical Duties**
- Provide comprehensive hearing tests to existing and new clients
- Attend to scheduled and walk-in clients, both on
- and off-site
- Communicate hearing test results to clients to educate client on their hearing threshold levels
- Guide client through fitting, and after-care of hearing devices
- Maintain expertise in the selling, repair, and troubleshooting of current hearing aid technology
- Build relationships with clients through regular client follow-up and post-care support
- Monitor clinic operations by keeping accurate client records, oversee inventory count, and communicate clinic support needs to appropriate stakeholders

**Professional Duties**
- Collaborate with Client Care Coordinators to create an efficient, high-performing clinic culture that is compliant with company operational and quality standards
- Maintain professional and regulatory credentials for practice and stay current on industry trends through continuous education, networking, and professional development opportunities
- Supervise or mentor students and train new staff members, when applicable

**Community Duties**
- Contribute clinical expertise to corporate initiatives and projects
- Foster hearing health care awareness in community by hosting outreach events
- Participate in internal and external engagements to build network

**Education & Experience Requirements**
- Graduate from a recognized Hearing Instrument program or Master’s degree in Audiology
- Registered and in good standing with applicable regulatory college or provincial governing body
- Current knowledge of hearing aid technology and hearing aid devices is required

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to build and maintain professional rapport with clients and colleagues
- Able to work independently, autonomously, and as a collaborative leader of a team
- Able to discern and maintain client confidentiality
- Able to prioritize work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment, without jeopardizing the client experience
- Proficient with MS Windows and Office
- Experience with client database systems is preferred
- Knowledge of insurance and agency coverage for hearing care services

**Physical/Mental Demands**
- Possess the mobile dexterity necessary to operate audiological equipment and to execute the fitting and molding of hearing aid devices
- Able to move equipment up to 20 pounds.
- Frequently sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching
- Able to work the environment described above to perform the essential functions of this job

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
