Client Service Coordinator
- MATERNITY LEAVE COVERAGE

**Core Responsibilities**
- Manage a caseload of clients who have an acquired brain injury
- Manage group registration and transportation arrangements with the assistance of the Program Manager
- Advocate for services on behalf of clients
- Support clients’ families and personal support networks
- Assist clients to identify, prioritize, find, and obtain the supports and services they require to improve and maintain quality of life
- Facilitate weekly peer support groups
- Develop and maintain accurate community resource lists
- Liaise with other social service agencies and health care providers involved with clients
- Engage in community capacity-building activities
- Maintain program statistics for the purpose of evaluation and funder reporting
- Present information on SABIS, its services and brain injury prevention
- Participate in interagency meetings
- Perform varied administrative and organizational activities

**Qualifications**
- Compassionate and human-centered attitude
- Previous experience working with survivors of acquired brain injury would be considered an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office and web-based programs
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Clear Criminal Record check and vulnerable persons check
- Own vehicle and valid driver’s license, with the willingness to travel would be considered an asset
- Completion of a post-secondary program in a field of study such as social work, disability studies, community rehabilitation or related diploma/degree programs would be considered an asset but is not a requirement

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $46,000.00 per year
