THE POSITION AND DUTIES:
Forecast cash flow based on upcoming projects, equipment expenditures, investments, and tax liabilities. Preparing financial reports and statements when requested by senior management. Manage information technologies, insurance, sales tax reporting, and federal income taxes, along with outside audits.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervision of the Accounting Department including roles of Accounts Payable, Receivable, Payroll and full cycle Accounting.
- Financial Reporting including reviewing internal reporting requirements
- Preparation of monthly external reporting requirements
- Reviewing the monthly Balance Sheet packages
- Preparation of all Yearend files, working directly with External Accountants to finalize Year End Financial Statements
- Generate and update cash flow projections
- All Government and external reporting and filing including Corp Tax, WSBC, EHT, GST, Union Dues, etc.
- Administrator for Benefits and Union submissions
- Special projects
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**
- 3 years plus experience in a Controller position
- 2 years of construction experience
- Proficiency in full cycle accounting
- Accounting Designation CPA/CMA/CGA preferred
- Experience with Sage 100 preferred
- Highly Organized, Detail Oriented with ability to prioritize
- Ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships at all levels within the organization.
- Trustworthy and professional
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Compensation and Benefits**
- Salary $90,000 - $115,000, depending on skill, experience, and background.

**Job Details**

- Salary $80,000 - $100,000, depending on skill, experience, and background.
- Located in Victoria, British Columbia.
