**Job Summary**:
The **Machine Shop Supervisor** is a recognized leader that maintains high levels of motivation and engagement within their assigned teams. Under the direction of the Production Manager, the Machine Shop Supervisor is responsible for a group of CNC Programmers, CNC Operators and Conventional Machinists that program, operate as well as set up and operating our CNC milling machine, CNC lathe, or CNC router, assemble, test, and help package and ship various types of industrial packaging machines. The Machine Shop ensures BellatRx reaches or exceeds its production, quality, and safety goals by assigning employees to their positions, training employees on their job duties, coaching and supporting employees, and continuously promoting BellatRx's core commitment to delivering products that go beyond expectations.

**We are looking for a Machine Shop Supervisor with the following**:

- DEP in Machining, Electromechanics, or equivalent formal training.
- 5 + years of experience in Machining (CNC and conventional - Lathe, Milling and Router)
- 3 + years of experience in a team lead / supervisory position.
- Intermediate to advanced technical abilities; mechanical, electrical, pneumatic.
- Knowledge of CNC Programming (Inventor Cam, Master Cam, or other cam software)
- Knowledge of MS Office software; outlook, word, excel.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English and French) is an asset.

**What would your main responsibilities be ?**:
**Health and Safety**:

- Ensure all tasks are performed in accordance with established Health and Safety procedures, protocols and standards.
- Support and reinforce assigned teams on proper health and safety procedures, protocols, and standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe shop floor environment.
- Lead by example, and continuously promote a culture of commitment towards health and safety.

**Machine Shop**:

- Align programming and manufacturing planning to machine capabilities.
- Develop standard tool lists across products.
- Incorporating modular fixturing to reduce setups.
- Implement digital part manufacturing plans by using job preplanning initiatives across contributors.
- Setup and manage the various department programs, procedures and systems.
- Strategize Equipment and Capacity needs.
- Assign tasks to the Team of Machine operators and Setup person as required by schedule, and ensure they perform their tasks efficiently, safely and meet production standards.
- Raw material inventory and ordering
- Cutting tool and consumables ordering
- Equipment preventive maintenance
- Oversee all personnel issues including performance, employee relation issues and disciplinary process in conjunction with company policies and management.
- Troubleshoot problems and provide training or guidance to other machinists as required.
- Provide machining estimates and plan tools required to complete the Job.
- Perform any additional duties per manager's direction.

Sous la direction du gestionnaire de production, le superviseur de l'atelier d'usinage est responsable d'un groupe de programmeurs CNC, d'opérateurs CNC et de machinistes conventionnels qui programment, opèrent et configurent notre fraiseuse CNC, notre tour CNC ou notre routeur CNC, assemblent, testent et aident à emballer et à expédier divers types de machines d'emballage industriel. L'atelier d'usinage veille à ce que BellatRx atteigne ou dépasse ses objectifs de production, de qualité et de sécurité en affectant les employés à leurs postes, en les formant à leurs tâches, en les encadrant et en les soutenant, et en promouvant continuellement l'engagement fondamental de BellatRx à fournir des produits qui dépassent les attentes.

**Nous recherchons un superviseur d'atelier d'usinage ayant les compétences suivantes**:

- DEP en usinage, électromécanique ou formation formelle équivalente.
- 5 ans et plus d'expérience en usinage (CNC et conventionnel - tour, fraiseuse et routeur)
- 3 ans et plus d'expérience dans un poste en tant que chef d'équipe ou superviseur.
- Capacités techniques intermédiaires à avancées : mécanique, électrique, pneumatique.
- Connaissance de la programmation CNC (Inventor Cam, Master Cam ou autre logiciel de programmation).
- Connaissance des logiciels MS Office ; outlook, word, excel.
- Solides compétences en leadership.
- Solides compétences en matière de relations interpersonnelles et de communication.
- Le bilinguisme (anglais et français) est un atout.
