Automotive Service Technician Job Description

Midas SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BELLEVUE 9480 is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Use state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, and brake problems.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers are satisfied with the work performed on their vehicles.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certifications: Hold a valid and current Certificate of Qualification in the province of Quebec, and have a competency card issued by the CPA.
  • Experience: Have a track record of high personal productivity and experience working in a team environment.
  • Skills: Possess knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, tires, and engine diagnostics, as well as experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines, and diagnostic tools.
