About the Role

Midas SAINTE-ANNE-DE-BELLEVUE 9480 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Apprentice Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostics and Repairs: Utilize state-of-the-art computer systems to diagnose and repair complex issues with vehicles.
  • Tire and Wheel Services: Perform tire rotations, balancing, and repairs, as well as wheel alignments.
  • Brake and Suspension Services: Inspect and repair brake systems, as well as suspension and steering components.
  • Engine and Cooling Services: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on engines, radiators, and cooling systems.
  • Electrical and Electronics Services: Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic issues with vehicles.
  • Exhaust and Emissions Services: Inspect and repair exhaust systems, as well as perform emissions testing and repairs.
Requirements
  • Provincial Certificate of Qualification: Must hold a valid certificate of qualification in automotive repair.
  • Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Own Tools and Equipment: Must have a set of basic tools and equipment, including a diagnostic scanner.
  • Experience with Shop Equipment: Must have experience using shop equipment, such as lifts and alignment machines.
  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Standards: Must have knowledge of and adhere to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
