**Position Summary**

The Planner will be responsible for materials planning, maintaining proper levels of finished goods and work in process inventories through the use of Epicor ERP software and analytical processes, establishing and executing production plans and analyzing procedures for product movement throughout and between plants.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities**
- Develop production plans and schedules to drive production efficiencies, meet customer demands, and manage capacity constraints.
- Review forecast information and convert planned jobs into scheduled jobs
- Maintain required levels of finish goods and work in process inventories in accordance with sales and operations planning processes and supported by Epicor ERP software
- Monitor finished good & work in process inventory to maintain system generated minimum and maximum inventory levels
- Review resource centre capacity levels for effective scheduling
- Prepare necessary analytical reports specific to planning, scheduling and Inventory
- Work collaboratively among the PIC team and cross functionally to meet goals and targets
- Prioritize past due orders & communicate updates to the Customer Service Group
- Create job traveller packages for production including distributing to designated resource centres
- Close successfully completed jobs & work with Production Supervisors to determine the gap in jobs that were not completed successfully to & assist in identifying continuous improvement initiatives
- Track set-up exceptions, generating reports to identify areas for continuous improvement
- Assist in reconciliation of inventories and investigating discrepancies
- Process engineering change orders
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Salary Range is $69,000 - $73,000

**Experience**: Required
- 3 year(s): Experience with an ERP system (Epicor preferred)
- 3 year(s): Experience planning and managing production, inventory and manufactured product.
