The successful applicant may remain at their current home location in BC and enter into a telework (remote) agreement OR work from a ministry location where office space is available.

**The opportunity**:
The Digital Talent Analyst is part of a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for supporting the strategy, performance and delivery of digital talent program and services across the BC Government. The role is focused on bringing Digital Talent with the intention of attracting and retaining them to build digital services across BC Government to support the modernization efforts to make our services more responsive to citizens’ wants and needs. This position will also get to work on performance improvement recommendations through experimentation, user feedback and metrics.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education**:

- Diploma or Higher in human resources, public or business administration, or one of the following fields of studies: agile development, organizational design and behaviour, human-centered design, **and **related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- **Related Experience**:

- A minimum of **3 years combined experience** in all of the following areas:

- Experience hiring Digital Talent to build Agile Software Development Teams (i.e., Product Managers, UX and Service Designers, Full Stack Developers, Site Reliability Specialists, DevOps Specialists, Scrum Masters, etc.)
- Experience in writing job postings and job descriptions
- Experience in creating interview questions, marking guides and assessments.
- Experience in scheduling and conducting interviews and job offers
- Experience onboarding employees, from payroll, access to workstation, to assigning a buddy/mentor
- Experience developing and/or supporting implementation of retention strategies (i.e., creation of career paths, learning and training initiatives, etc.)
- Experience in a service/client-centered focused environment
- Over 3 years of experience in some of the related experiences as stated above
- Experience in headhunting digital talent (i.e., Product Managers, Designers, Full Stack Developers, Site Reliability Specialists, DevOps Specialists, Scrum Masters, etc.)
- Experience working in an agile way, delivering value every 2 to 3 weeks to users while continuously iterating and improving the product/service
- Experience hiring Data Talent, such as Data Analysts and Data Scientists
- Experience working on projects related to digital service delivery, technology and/or data
- Experience hiring for unionized and excluded positions
- Experience in creating and designing content and documents with focus on accessibility, readability, and understandability
- Experience analyzing data and reporting out metrics
