**The role**:
As the Finance Transformation and automation Manager, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and functionality of our organization’s systems and processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, design solutions and implement the order entry system to enhance and streamline financial processes. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders from Sales, Operations, and IT teams to automate various systems into our financial ERP systems. You will also be providing support, technical guidance, and training to a team of Finance processors in a Microsoft Dynamics “GP” environment.
**What you will be doing**:
- **System Analysis & Process Optimization**:
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, finance, IT and other relevant teams to gather requirements in order to design an integrated Order Entry process into Great Plains.
- Evaluate & Cleanse various sources of inputs into the order entry process by establishing a project plan to synchronize various master data with the financial ERP systems.
- Identify and eliminating inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement / automation within the order entry process.
- Design and implement standardized workflows and procedures of best practices including Q&A support for finance users.
- Be the lead liaison with IT to implement identified process improvements and other enhancements such as upgrades, new system implementations, etc. to ensure completion
- **Training and Support**:
- Perform Tier 1 level support to finance users - Ability to resolve system problems created by normal course processing activities.
- Develop & update training documentation once system changes are made and lead short training sessions to educate the finance staff in understanding best practices.
- Liase with the IT technical GP staff to ensure finance system configurations surrounding business system issues, business rules & processes are being followed.
- Liaise with the IT on finance system upgrades, projects, and related reports including Finance UAT Testing and sign off.
- Develop adhoc reports and other tools for continual improvement of processing services.
**What you bring**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Information Systems (e.g. CMA, CPA)
- 5+ years of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience is an asset
- Proven experience in financial systems analysis, design, and implementation.
- Previous integrations or systems conversion experience is an asset
- Excellent problem solving and project management skills.
- Revenue Recognition Management (desirable)
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Directly supported the Finance Organization in previous capacity.
