Riverdale is looking for a Maintenance Manager (bilingual English/Spanish) to join our **Kick-Ass, Growing Team**

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the effective operations of the Maintenance department, managing General Labourers and fostering an optimal work environment for employees.
- Supervise the team in Elmira responsible for minor repairs, equipment inspections, mechanical turkey loader deliveries, cleaning, and maintenance.
- Ensure accuracy and utilize data from the fleet management software (Fleetio) to make informed decisions.
- Review existing documentation and develop, document, and deploy processes as necessary.
- Effectively develop, control, and manage the maintenance department budget.
- Schedule maintenance department work and assist with temporary foreign worker capacity planning.
- Review equipment issues and prioritize repairs to support operational requirements.
- Identify new opportunities for the maintenance team to add value to Riverdale and its customers.

**Facilities Management**:

- Log, coordinate, and oversee all maintenance activities and repairs for Riverdale's industrial and residential facilities across South Western Ontario.
- Procure and maintain third-party service providers as needed.
- Ensure consistent standards across Riverdale's industrial and residential portfolio, including landscaping, snow removal, and security/monitoring.
- Ensure residents of Riverdale's residential homes adhere to their rental agreements for maintenance responsibilities.
- Coordinate with landlords to ensure their maintenance and appliance/equipment repair obligations are fulfilled.
- Oversee move-in and move-out activities for properties being set up or vacated.
- Respond to emergency calls related to Riverdale's facilities.
- Manage and coordinate house inspections with Public Health.
- Perform any other duties as required.

**Requirements**:

- Post secondary diploma/degree or equivilent experience
- Experience in maintenance department leadership and facilities management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Spanish is essential for effective communication with the maintenance team.
- Knowledge of fleet management software (Fleetio) is preferred.
- Ability to develop and manage budgets.
- Understanding of temporary foreign worker programs is a plus.
- Valid G cladd driver's license and willingness to travel between locations.
- Comfortable working in shop, office, and outdoor environments.
- Physical fitness for light to medium physical effort.
