**Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, surgeries, and procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by the veterinarian.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall health during procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic or hospital environment.
- Assist with the restraint of animals for examinations and treatments.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with veterinary practices.

**Qualifications**
- Completion of an accredited Veterinary Technician program is preferred.
- Certification or licensure as a Veterinary Technician is desirable.
- Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care setting is a plus.
- Proficient in laboratory skills and procedures related to veterinary medicine.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine love for animals.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed.
