This position is remote and can be based anywhere in Canada.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with the Leadership team, lead and support the development of an organizational people and culture plan to ensure human resources are aligned with the operational and strategic priorities of the organization.
- Develop and launch a comprehensive performance management framework that links strategy to individual and team performance plans; develop individual and team performance systems to include core and technical competencies and KPI’s
- Lead development of compensation philosophy and benchmarking processes
- Develop professional development program(s) for employees
- Develop, implement, and conduct regular reviews of HR and Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure they comply with current legislation, Imagine Canada accreditation requirements, and organizational strategic direction and business plans
- Advise, support, update and provide training on HR policies, procedures, and practices
- Responsible for core HR functions across the employee lifecycle from recruitment, onboarding through to offboarding
- In collaboration with the hiring manager, coordinate the recruitment process including job postings, interviews, job offers, onboarding and orientation

**Skills, Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
- University degree in Human Resources Management or related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of HR Generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of federal, provincial, and local employment laws and
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
