Secret City brings live immersive theatrical experiences to historical sites and museums. SCA’s mission is to build human connection through shared stories, immersive places and a sense of play. Established in 2014, Secret City Adventures has mounted over 20 live immersive games and large scale events at some of Toronto’s most frequented sites, including the acclaimed _Casa Loma Escape Series_, _Where Dark Things Dwell _at Black Creek Pioneer Village and _Escape the Ghost Ship_ along the city’s harbourfront.

We are seeking a talented and experienced People and Culture Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the company’s efforts in recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent. You will work closely with management and employees to ensure a positive and productive work environment, and will play a critical role in shaping the company culture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and provincial laws and regulations
- Provide support and guidance to management and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary action
- Develop and implement employee development programs, including training and coaching initiatives
- Conduct regular surveys to assess employee satisfaction and engagement, and develop strategies to improve retention and morale
- Coordinate company-wide events and activities to foster a positive and inclusive culture
- Monitor and report on HR metrics, including turnover rates, diversity, and other key indicators

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 3+ years of experience in HR or related role
- Strong understanding of HR laws and regulations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficient in GSuite and HR software

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
