**Company Description**

The Hot House Restaurant & Bar is one of the busiest restaurants in Toronto, offering an eclectic menu and an upbeat atmosphere. With spacious and colourfully decorated rooms, it provides a vibrant dining experience. From gourmet steaks to pasta dishes, salads, and desserts, The HotHouse restaurant is a large format and busy restaurant serving the St Lawrence Market Neighbourhood for over 30 years.

We cater to a diverse range of clientele employing multiple styles of service. Beyond a la Carte service we host weddings, private and corporate events and travel groups.

**Role Description**

We are looking for an assistant manager to join our existing management team and help us deliver a great customer hospitality experience.

**Qualifications**
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience in the food and beverage industry
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous supervisory or management experience is an asset

**Requirements**:

- 1-3+ years of experience in team leadership.
- Proven ability to develop, coach and inspire a high-performing team.
- Proactively recruit, hire and retain talent.
- Ability to manage in-store budgets and forecasts
- High attention to detail with integrity to elevate the guest experience
