As the Assistant Manager at Bar Prequel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bar. You will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily operations, manage staff, and maintain the highest standards of service. Your leadership and expertise will be essential in creating a welcoming and memorable atmosphere for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Team Leadership**:
Assist in recruiting, training, and supervising team members, including bartenders, servers, and support staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and exceptional customer service.
Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to staff members to enhance their skills and professionalism.

**Operational Excellence**:
Oversee daily opening and closing procedures, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage inventory, track stock levels, and place orders as needed to maintain efficient operations.

**Customer Experience**:
Interact with customers to ensure they have a memorable and enjoyable experience.
Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
Continuously monitor and maintain high-quality service standards.

**Menu and Mixology**:
Ensure consistent preparation and presentation of cocktails, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.

**Financial Management**:
Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis to optimize profitability.
Monitor sales, track expenses, and implement strategies to maximize revenue.
Handle cash management, including cash-outs and reconciliations.

**Qualifications**:
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a bar or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail preparation, and beverage service.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.
Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Smart serve certified
Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
Proven ability to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
Creative flair and the ability to contribute to cocktail menu development.
