**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to oversee our company's fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing and working on fleet-related improvement projects together with the CEO, including fleet deployment and strategic carsharing network growth
- Reporting to the CEO as it relates to fleet issues and any other tasks the CEO deems necessary
- Sustaining good working relationships with suppliers
- Maintaining private and municipal parking relationships
- Tracking, investigating, and managing damage and maintenance events
- Guiding, delegating, and coordinating our team of Fleet Assistants
- Working with other departments to ensure effective knowledge transfer and internal and external communication
- Communicating with carsharing members regarding damage and maintenance issues
- Dealing effectively with a variety of vehicle-related problems
- Providing some after-hours on-call phone support

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 3 years of experience managing and leading a team of three or more staff
- Previous experience in hiring, training, and mentoring staff
- Background in project management
- Experience working on fleets and/or asset management
- Knowledgable in building and maintaining relationships with contractors and third-party vendors
- Experience with creating and improving policies and procedures
- Well-versed in Excel and Microsoft/Google Docs Suite
- Basic mechanical skills (e.g. changing tires, changing a car battery)
- Automotive repair experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to lift at least 25kg
- A valid 5F license with a clear driver’s abstract

Applicants must be Canadian citizens or permanent or temporary residents of Canada with a valid Canadian work permit.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
