**Program Overview**

The AMA Accelerating Change Transformation Team (ACTT) supports physicians and other team members, improve care within their practice environments. **We work with physician leaders, clinic teams and health system partners across the province to simplify, support, and scale provincial healthcare transformation projects and innovation.**

ACTT is a program within the AMA serving the system and physicians in their collective pursuit of better care for Albertans; funding is provided by Alberta Health as part of the Physician Support Programs under the AMA/AH agreement. Please see our web page for more information on AMA ACTT.

**Position Overview**

The Analyst is responsible for reporting and analysis of project progress, outcomes and improvement opportunities. The Analyst prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends. This role supports Quality Improvement in PCNs, clinics and zones by providing analysis as required by portfolio leads, PCNs, zones and other stakeholders.

**Key responsibilities of this position include**:

- Assist in defining project requirements by analyzing previous projects workload/results and compare to expected work of new projects.
- Work with Coordinators to determine how to best monitor and track project progress; resolve problems; publish progress reports; and recommend actions.
- Plan and coordinate the development of primary and secondary market research studies to support strategic planning and specific marketing initiatives; and present findings to committees or internal project portfolios.
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reports.
- Make recommendations to project leaders using analytics. Actively participate in the implementation of approved changes.

Working in a matrix project environment, the Analyst will be comfortable moving among project teams and multiple reporting lines, while managing multiple deliverables.

**Education and Experience**
- Minimum requirement is a 2-year post-secondary diploma in business or related field with at least 5 years relevant experience.
- Experience in data collection, analysis and reporting methodologies.
- Experience working with learning management systems, preferably with Absorb.
- Technical writing experience required.

**Skills**
- Excellent communication skills, including an ability to summarize complex information and data to multiple audiences.
- Focus on accuracy, attention to detail, quality service.
- Models respect and transparency by being open, acting with integrity, sharing resources / knowledge across project delivery teams.
- Flexible and adaptable, able to work within a changing environment.
- Strong demonstrated ability to work in different software environments - e.g. Microsoft Suite, Visio, MS Project, Function Fox, data modeling software and research systems, various health resource databases, project management.
- Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and find similarities, differences and themes within the data provided.
- Demonstrate management of change in a project delivery environment.
- Ability to work within a team environment is essential.

The salary for this role will be between $72,462 - $94,199.

Pay: $72,462.00-$94,199.00 per year
