HR Manager

**In this role you will**:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies, universities, and other sources of potential talent.
- Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and career development plans.
- Develop and implement compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with the company's financial objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and regulations and ensure that the company is following all legal requirements.
- Provide advice and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities and employee recognition programs.
- Oversee the maintenance of employee records and ensure that they are accurate and up to date.
- Prepare and present HR-related reports and metrics to senior management.
**The ideal profile**:
- Very strong English communication skills
- Mandarin/Chinese is an asset
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in HR management, preferably in a start-up or high-growth environment or CPG industry.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Any experience in Marketing (such as social media) is a great asset or a strong interest in the domain.
The role is onsite 5 days a week in the GTA and is full time permanent.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Toronto, ON M5H 3W4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
