**Who are we looking for?**

The purpose of the HR Manager is to support the AVP People & Culture in their strategic initiatives at RamSoft. This role supports day-to-day HR operations, strategic planning, and works with department leaders to ensure operational processes and activities are developed, maintained, and delivered.

**Reports to**: AVP People & Culture.

**Job Level**: Individual Contributor.

**What will you do in RamSoft?**
- Provide advisory and functional support to AVP People & Culture to ensure departmental goals are achieved
- Review and work on OKRs for department.
- Respond to staff inquiries regarding policies, practices, and procedures for HR-specific issues
- Advise and support assigned managers and team leads to find and implement solutions to their HR management issues
- Work with AVP of People & Culture to investigate and resolve complex and sensitive employee relations issues (e.g. conflicts, complaints, performance improvement plans)
- Research market and industry trends to propose updates for job descriptions, titles, and compensation
- Prepare reports on HR metrics using data from HRIS, payroll systems, and other tools
- Assist in gathering artifacts for ISO, SOC2, and other audits
- Assist with development of presentation content and training material (e.g. general employee training, board meetings, Company Townhalls)
- Support the development and administration of the employee recognition and engagement programs, including assessment and follow-up of engagement survey results
- Support administration of the performance management and salary review process (e.g. preparation for rollout, educating staff, processing results)
- Support administration of professional development program e.g. process training requests, research training providers
- Keep up-to-date with HR trends, best practices, and relevant legislation, and recommend improvements for RamSoft
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current local legislation and internal standards
- Maintain files in the HR drive and HRIS
- Collaborate with Finance to prepare payroll for processing in assigned region; ensuring time off, organizational changes, etc are all captured accurately.
- Collaborate with IT for tasks related to employee onboarding, changes, and offboarding
- Process new hires, changes, enrollments, and terminations for assigned region in payroll and benefits systems; provide employees with paystub access, benefits documents etc
- Respond to external HR and Operations-related inquiries (e.g. employment verification requests)
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

**What will you bring to RamSoft?**
- 3-5 years of experience working in a related role
- High level of communication skills, written and verbal, is required in order to interact with internal and external personnel
- Experience handling employee relations and typical HR tasks is required
- Understanding of Canadian and American employment law
- Demonstrated ability to execute presentations to internal and external parties
- Ability to make decisions and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated experience working with confidential information
- Extensive organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work well under mínimal supervision
- Proven ability to learn quickly and be proactive in taking on assignments and responsibilities.
