Regional Medical Education Manager, Ibd-ontario

Janssen Pharmaceutical, Companies of Johnson & Johnson is currently hiring a Regional Medical Education Manager-IBD. This position is field based in Ontario and is a 1 year fixed term contract.
The Regional Medical Education Manager (RMEM) develops the regional medical education strategy and contributes to the National Medical Education Strategy. They are responsible for executing regional needs assessments and identifying local and regional insights on educational gaps and HCP learning needs, in order to contribute to the National Education Strategy for their Therapy Area. The RMEM is responsible for development of the GTM (go-to-market) plans alongside the Medical Science Liaison in the region. The RMEM will oversee the medical event execution by Territory Managers and help identify local congress opportunities, in alignment with laws, regulations, policy, and Corporate Compliance. The RMEM will identify field synergies for execution and oversee executional excellence of the national and regional medical education tactics in alignment with the strategic plans.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
**Regional Education Leadership**
- Develops the Go-To-Market regional education plan
- Oversee the execution of educational assets in field
- Optimize educational offerings in the region
- Partner closely with MSL to meet with speakers to ensure alignment to scientific narrative and pre and post event follow up
- Responsible for execution of OLAs, NVP/IVP medical events and regional congress symposia operations
- Coordinate event wrap-up and evaluation including insight feedback to NMEM
- Conduct quarterly regional insight analysis to NMEM and RBM (Triad as needed)
**Field Logistics Leadership**
- Management of all aspects related to the tactical execution of a medical education event
- Ensures the tracking and reporting of events in alignment with compliance and POA plan for the asset
Compliance and Medical Education Subject Matter Expert
- Understands the needs of the region for medical education
- Responsible for event closure, post event evaluation summaries and post-event follow up with the speaker
**Regional Business Readiness**
- Supports the TA medical education strategies and execution for each educational event
Monitors ongoing events in the region to ensure compliant offerings.
Tracks event metrics to provide feedback and insights to NMEM, RBM and/or TM.
Demonstrate knowledge of key regulations, policies and industry codes applicable to healthcare compliance for pharmaceutical companies in Canada.
Partner closely with the Health Care Engagement, Digital MEM, Operations MEM, to optimize process flow for educational assets and ensure alignment with all policies.
**Qualifications**:
At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or medical education field or educational field.
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulated standards (IMC Code of Ethical Practices, ICH GCP, cGMPs, or Pharmacovigiliance standards) and experience working with Health Care Compliance functions.
Strong people management skills
Strong communication and collaboration skill set with ability to showcase leadership of cross-functional project team members
Understanding of agile ways of working
Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during execution of tasks
Results driven, innovative, assertive, strategic problem solver
Demonstrated experience of change management and adoption
Superior project management skills
Experience with internal policies and systems, including iCEM
Proficiency in metrics and reporting, creating dashboards and scorecards, and communicating complex information at the right tone and breadth
Experience in continuous improvement and or quality improvement processes
Strong analytical and time management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, Google Analytics, and strong aptitude to learn other technology quickly
Prioritization and organization of workflow activities to meet tight deadlines
Superior level of attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment is critical
Experience with interacting with different levels of the organization
Knowledge of the medical education area is required
Ability to make decisions specific to business requirements
