We are currently seeking to hire a full-time** IT Systems Specialist who **will play a key role in delivering responsive and effective technical support for our systems, including ERP and warehouse management systems as well as provide general technical support to our users located in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and in the US.

**Who We Are**:
Sierra Supply Chain Services provides protein (poultry, beef, pork) solutions to the food processing and distribution sector. We simplify supply chain services and provide expanding value to the protein sector across our three locations in Brampton, Hamilton, and Mississauga. Our Hamilton facility is a newly state of the art facility with the latest technologies.

Reporting directly to the IT Manager, you will be the first point of contact for all IT and system issues, working effectively with our internal IT team members, MSP and various system vendors.

**Key responsibilities**:
Support the day-to-day operations for our ERP, WMS, EDI, and all other systems we use.

Provide general technical support to all our team members.

Employee onboarding, delivering IT at scale during a time of growth.

Troubleshoot connectivity issues in our office and warehouse environments.

Set up and provide support for office and warehouse workstations, phones, scanners, and printers.

Participate in incident management.

Manage Microsoft 365 apps, authentication, accounts, and permissions.

Manage SharePoint sites and permissions and OneDrive.

Manage AD user accounts and permissions.

Escalate network, server, cloud solution or ISP issues to the appropriate vendor or provider and work with them toward a resolution.

Assist providers with troubleshooting and be the on-site IT resource when required.

Manage cloud phone system, VOIP devices, A/V and meeting equipment.

Deploy and manage IT assets.

Help develop internal IT processes and maintain documentation.

Help manage inventory and software licenses.

Support various IT projects.

Assist with security, training and disaster recovery planning.

**Required experience and skills**:
Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience providing IT support services with related educational background and or relevant certifications.

Knowledge of setup and troubleshooting of computers, tablets, docks, printers, RF scanners, VOIP and mobile phones.

Experience working in a Microsoft environment: Windows workstation and Server OS, Active Directory, Terminal Server.

Experience managing the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: Outlook, Teams, Office, Planner.

Good understanding of networking, server, security and cloud concepts.

Creative at problem-solving and result oriented with a strong sense of ownership.

Commitment to continuous improvement.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

**Preferred skills**:
Microsoft Dynamics experience.

Skilled in working with SQL databases, PowerBI, reporting, Power Automate.

Network infrastructure: manage routers, firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VPN, VLAN, WAN. Experience with Ubiquity and Cisco network solutions.

Experience working with ERP or warehouse management systems and EDI.

Manage cloud services and security.

Virtualization technologies: Hyper-V and VMWare.

Server management, backup, and update management.

Concepts of project management.
