The Office Administrator at The Toucan is a management position. It is not your typical Office job, as it will definitely be more exciting and will require you to “wear many hats.” The main responsibilities include support with administrative and financial aspects of the business, such as: accounting/bookkeeping, banking, WSIB, vendor payments, filing invoices, tax payments, bank reconciliation etc.

Problem solving is a great quality for our Office Administrator to have, as you will encounter setbacks to your daily routine regularly. There may be times when you are the only key-holder in the building, so you will be required to make quick decisions, deal with customer complaints, decide whether to write donation certificates to causes, and help access the lock-up when needed. Issues you may encounter include, equipment breaking, debit machines failing, internet going down, team members not showing up for their shift, difficult customers etc.

Other duties of the job include:

- Restocking office supplies and paper/ink supplies for around the restaurant.
- Posting Ads for jobs and scheduling interviews.
- Setting up new hires in the system, retrieving the proper documentation and providing them with handbooks and tour of building.
- Updating business records and databases that contain personnel, financial, and business data.
- Posting to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
- Updating the website with new soccer schedules and changes to the draught list.
- Updating the POS system with menu changes.
- Becoming JHSC Certified, attending Health & Safety meetings, and participating in monthly inspections.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 30 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every Weekend
