**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Vice President, Client and Stakeholder Enablement, this position is responsible for implementing and project managing strategic real estate solutions that advance city-building opportunities across a diverse portfolio of City properties. This position focuses on managing real estate opportunities with the needs of City stakeholders, supporting comprehensive, city-wide objectives, while leading and aligning stakeholders through various processes, while maintaining appropriate database records. The incumbent will be required to develop business cases, presentations, reports including site specific analysis, planning profiles, graphics, maps and other related documents to support City Divisions, Agencies and Corporations real estate needs on City properties along with other Council approved programs.

**PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Support CreateTO’s strategy function, including providing client services portfolio strategy and business transformation.
- Develop business plans, case studies, property-use proposals to support strategic property planning opportunities.
- Track, analyze, and report on client needs to provide program intelligence as it relates to DAC needs, opportunities and solutions.
- Evaluate and assess corporate and program budgets, master plans, strategic and capital plans for real estate requirements, including applicable cost and timing considerations.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure that DAC needs are considered and incorporated into projects.
- Advice City Stakeholders on options to efficiently address real estate needs.
- Conduct research and analysis on land use planning, provincial and municipal policy, economic development, asset management and best practices.
- Work with cross-functional teams to generate alignment between real estate development, finance, legal, operations, planning and client functions.

**CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES**

To be successful in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

- University Degree or equivalent, with a focus in real estate, urban planning, architecture, finance or public infrastructure.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience is required at a professional level.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with municipal services, governance, and policies, and/or working with the broader public sector to provide creative and insightful solutions.
- An understanding of commercial real estate processes and familiarity of municipal planning processes
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external clients.
- Excellent relationship building with a strong customer focus and a collaborative working style.
- Ability to think strategically and across various issues, including financial, policy, technical, intergovernmental, legal and operational.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects at once with mínimal supervision.
