**HR Data Administrator**:
**Primary Purpose**: The university is seeking to hire experienced, customer-focused human resource and payroll administrative staff member to deliver high quality support and contribute to an effective, collaborative, service-oriented work environment. The purpose of this position is to review and accurately enter payroll information for employment and non-employment positions and deliver customer service that supports the administrative needs of faculty, students and staff at the University of Saskatchewan.

**Nature of Work**: The HR Data Administrator is accountable for reviewing and entering human resources and financial data into the university’s payroll and financial information systems correctly to support the services provided by ConnectionPoint within applicable university policy and guidelines and required legislation.

**Typical Duties or Accountabilities**:

- Process Electronic eForms and Job Submissions (including the assessment and entry of employment and non-employment).
- Ensures required documentation and approvals to process payroll information for employment, non-employment and payments to service providers and honorarium recipients is collected, reviewed, authorized, and entered accurately into People Soft.
- Determines eligibility and ensures the required pension and benefit deductions are set up, and correctly align with the multiple employment agreements.
- Is responsible to review, distribute and gather required HR information reports to support pay actions and required immigration documentation from department contacts.
- Liaise with colleagues and internal/external stakeholders to ensure seamless and efficient resolution and/or routing of outstanding payroll enquiries and associated administrative processing.
- Reduce risk by remaining current with and adhering to university policies, guidelines and processes, collective agreements and relevant legislation that may have an impact on the payroll functions and service payments to individual.
- Contribute to customer service and process improvement by providing technology and process feedback to colleagues and stakeholders to improve ConnectionPoint administrative services and operations.
- Submit requests to issue new funds, change existing funds and transfer funds (through JV’s) for professional development funds/APEF/DSAE and other institutional awards.
- Work effectively with other offices (FCO, SBA’s, Colleges/Units).

Perform other related responsibilities as required.

**Education**: Completion of a relevant post-secondary program with 2-3 years of human resource experience administering salary and benefit plans within a unionized and customer orientated workplace is required. Basic accounting skills are required.

**Experience**:

- Experience working in a diverse and inclusive environment with high volumes and tight timelines.
- Working knowledge of University of Saskatchewan collective agreements and workflow processes.

**Skills**:

- Demonstrated experience working in case management systems will be considered an asset.
